From 22 May, 2016 to 26 May, 2016, delegates of the Mega Asset Management (MAM) and Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) leaded by Ms. Lim Lychin, Co-Director of MAM, and Mr. Touch Samnang, Deputy CEO of OCIC, have a learning trip to Singapore. The trip was arranged by Building Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore to engage a lot of useful meetings with both public and private sectors/companies related to construction industries, technologies, gallery, presentation, method, water sources and supply, wastewater treatment and process with the site visit in Singapore.

The mission team visited the BCA Academic (Gallery Building) where many interesting topics were presented and introduced by BCA professional guide such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), 3D Printing for complex shape of steel structure, Prefabricated Bathroom Unit, Process of Prefabricated Pre-Finished Volumetric, New Engineering Tools & Equipment, Project Management work for Construction Project, Precast Hybrid Concrete Steel Structure Technology, Smart Machine with new technologies and smart software for workers/staffs management, Prefabricated Mechanical and Electrical System. Also, the mission team visited BCA Academic Building (Training Room) to take part presentations on practical use of BIM and how it work to be useful for construction project. In addition, the delegates visited the BCA office building and had some useful meetings with BCA Group Director for International Development Group, and Flotech Company specialized in Process Control and Instrumentation of Water/Wastewater Solutions and Treatment Plant.

Moreover, the delegates had a visit and participated in some fascinating presentations such as Solutions for Water & Wastewater Treatment System by Hyflux Company, Panel Wall made by light weight concrete for saving materials cost by Conspecs Company, and Video Camera Analysis Smart Software with physical control & smart camera detect by Cyrus Company. The mission team visited showroom of The Glades Project to learn about Green concept, unit price of project, the interior design, and marketing agency. Beside this, there were business networking events with both public and private sectors for constructions industries.

The trip was very useful to MAM and OCIC to learn new Singaporean design concepts to apply for our projects to make them more attractive and competitive. BIM technology, the compact waste water treatment plant, IT system for worker/staff management, and smart security camera with smart software are very helpful tools to improve the managing of our construction projects and satellite city effectively and efficiently.
